BEAUTY BLENDER BATH!

Hi beauties, I just recently restocked on my Beauty Blender Cleanser because it is so amazing!!! Here is a review on why this is a worthy product!

Ok so I purchased this product in the first place because I realized that every time I would wash my beauty blender with regular soap barely anything (as in makeup deep in the sponge) came out. I figured there must be a reason that Beauty Blender makes a cleanser so I gave it a shot! The first time I washed it with the cleanser so much crap came out I was beyond disgusted. It completely cleaned my beauty blender and brought it back to its pink color.

This product is not only a sponge cleanser but it can also be used on brushes! 

I have A LOT of makeup brushes and I decided to clean them with this….bad idea!

I literally finish up this product SO FAST because I used it on all my brushes and it wasn't worth it at all. It's much better to stick to shampoo or soap for your makeup brushes and leave this cleanser for the sponge itself so you don't end up buying one bar each month…unless you have like 5 makeup brushes (YUP, didn't think so haha).

Overall, I absolutely love this product for cleaning my beauty blender because it gets the job done and gets all the makeup at the core of the sponge out! 

I definitely recommend this to anyone who has a beauty blender!

FABULOUS FACIAL SPRAY

This Mario Badescu facial spray is my life! I swear by this stuff, it keeps my dry skin moisturized throughout the day and refreshes my makeup when it's slowly becoming dull. I also love to use this prior to applying primer or foundation because it preps my skin for flawless application. I have gone through bottles of this and I take it with me everywhere I go! This is a must have for every season and summer in particular, just to keep your skin refreshed.

GIVE ME THAT GLOW!

Here I have two of my "glowy" bronzers that I love to wear around summer time. 

The first is the Too Faced "Sun Bunny" bronzer which is gives you a natural glow. I like to mix the two colors together and bronze up my face. I do not contour with this color because it does have shimmer in it so I simply warm up my face and add some color to my cheeks.

The second product is a Mac Mineralize Skinfinish in "Gold Deposit" which is extremely pigmented and since I have very fair skin I cannot apply this product on it's own because I'll just have orange shiny cheeks...not cute. I like to use this over a matte bronzer and only on the hallows of my cheeks slightly dragging the color towards the apple of my cheeks, but not fully. I also love the color "Soft & Gentle" form this same line as a highlighter.

NAKED HIGHLIGHTER

Ok ladies, please trust me when I say you need this in your life because YOU NEED THIS IN YOUR LIFE!!!!!!!!!! For all my beauties who love a gorgeous highlight do yourself a favor and purchase this product you will not regret it. It is such a beautiful shimmer color I always get compliments when I wear this. I like to use a fan brush (or the brush it comes with) and place this on the high points of my cheeks (as you do with any highlighter). Now, I know this product isn't for everyone because it is very shimmery and very pigmented but for those of you who like these qualities, buy this...it's worth every penny!! Oh and I use it as an inner corner highlight too!

DIORSKIN NUDE BB CREME

Spring and Summer are all about lightweight coverage so a BB cream or tinted moisturizer is perfect...they are both pretty much the same thing except a BB has a few added benefits (depending on the brand). This Dior BB is perfect for everyday wear the only thing I don't like is the small color selection, it only has 4 shades GRR! I have shade 2 only because shade 1 was way to pink and since I have pink undertones I need a more yellow color to cancel that out. I mix this with my Dior Nude foundation and I get the perfect amount of coverage. The coverage of the BB alone is light to buildable and it doesn't cake up. It also gives you a dewy finish!

Nars All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation Review!

Hello Makeup Tonight Beauties,

Here is a review on the Nars All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation :)

So lets talk a little about the foundation:
 

• It's definitely light weight; it feels very smooth and velvety. 
• It isn't as luminous as it claims; it's more demi-matte in my opinion.
• It is definitely not all day. It wears for a few hours but it settles into fine lines (laugh smiles, wrinkles, etc) fairly quickly. 
  • I have tried this foundation with a bunch of primers to see what it is most compatible with. I have moisturized and used a velvety primer (Japonesque Velvet Touch Primer) underneath this foundation and it still gets into the crevices of my face and doesn't elongate the wear power. I have also used a silicone poreless primer (Too Faced Primed & Poreless) and I realized my face looking extra oily and the foundation was breaking up (bummer). I have also used a color correcting primer (Clinique Super Primer) and although it gave me a flawless finish (as did all the other primers) it still settles into my smile lines and I feel that I need to touch up with powder after 2 hours. 
  • I set my face with either a pressed or loose powder every time!
• Not compatible with other foundations. I tried to mix it and it started to break apart on my face so stay away from mixing this foundation with other foundations.
• Definitely full coverage. It will cover everything!!!!
• It is advised to use only 1 pump on your face (laughs). That is a joke to me given that the pump lets out only a dot, YES a dot, of product. I normally use 2-3 pumps for my whole face. *Shake before you use it*
• You must must must have an exfoliated face if you want to use this foundation because it does tends to enhance imperfections on the face. 
• Compatible with dry skin if you moisturize and I advise anyone with oily skin to stay far far away. 
• I blend this with my beauty blender after I dot the foundation on my face.

Overall, I do like this foundation but I don't love it. I use it because it's new and I can get away with it looking somewhat flawless for a few hours but it's not something I reach for if I want my makeup to last all day and look flawless all day.

Foundation Brush OR Beauty Blender?

Most of us have wondered at least once whether we should use our good old foundation brush or the modern beauty blender. Well, that all depends on the look you are going for, your skin, and the amount of time you want to spend applying your foundation. When it comes to a buffer brush such as the Morphe M439 this is ideal for getting an airbrushed finish and really buffing the makeup into your skin. However, this process takes time because you have to work in circular motions until your entire face is covered and you have the coverage you are looking for.  When it comes to the Beauty Blender it takes less than half the time to apply your foundation and it gives you more coverage without soaking in too much of your foundation.

If we had to pick, our #1 choice would be the Beauty Blender!

Just remember you need to make sure it’s damp or else it won’t do the job right.
